Safety & Accessibility
Safety comes first!
It is important for parents to know that the crew of the Pancake Boat is committed to the safety of the children. This means that there are no low railings or dangerous openings. In addition, there is always supervision on board and the crew pays extra attention to safety when boarding and disembarking passengers.
Disabled
Boarding in a wheelchair (max. 80 cm wide), with a walker or with crutches is possible. You can indicate this when booking in the 'comments' field. We will then reserve a table on the lower deck for your party. The pancake buffet is also located on the lower deck. However, the toilets are on the upper deck and can only be reached by stairs. There is no elevator or disabled toilet on board. A maximum of 8 wheelchairs can be carried on board.
Table preference
There is room for about 80 passengers on the lower deck and about 50 passengers on the upper deck. You can indicate a preference for the lower or upper deck when booking. The captain will take this into account as much as possible when assigning the tables, but we cannot guarantee that your preference will be honored.
